GILBERT CHEVROLET - SUPER AFR ZZ4 CRATE ENGINE | |

GILBERT CHEVROLET’s new Super AFR ZZ4 will produce 464 hp @ 6,100 rpm and 440 ft./lbs. of torque @ 5,300 rpm and still run on premium 92 octane pump gas. This is the perfect street/strip engine for people that want the maximum power and still be able to drive on the street. This is a performance engine and most likely will not be emissions legal in newer vehicles. Check your local, regional, and country laws before buying. Keys - scperformanceeng, gmperformanceeng, or gmgoodwrencheng for SC, GM, or Goodwrench engines. Use allengine for a complete list of all three. |

SUPER AFR ZZ4 DESCRIPTION | |
| In addition to offering a full array of GM Performance Parts crate engines, GILBERT CHEVROLET has a *NEW* 350 c.i.d. to add to its line up, the Super AFR ZZ4. The Super AFR ZZ4 puts out a very impressive 464 hp @ 6,100 rpm and 440 ft. /lbs. @ 5,300 rpm. GILBERT CHEVROLET uses the street, strip, and race proven ZZ4 short-block as the foundation for the Super AFR ZZ4 for reliability, strength, and performance. For the camshaft, GILBERT CHEVROLET chose the GM 12370846 camshaft for the most torque and horsepower. This GM camshaft is a hydraulic roller with 0.509 inch intake / 0.528 inch exhaust lift and 222 degree intake / 230 degree exhaust duration at 0.050 tappet lift. To help the GM 12370846 hydraulic roller camshaft get beyond 6,000 RPM, GILBERT CHEVROLET added a 6155 Rev. Kit from AFR. The top end of the Super AFR ZZ4 consists of special AFR 195cc cylinder heads which GILBERT CHEVROLET chose to make the ZZ4 short-block breath and an Edelbrock Victor Jr. single plane intake manifold which was recommended by AFR to top off the engine. The AFR 195cc cylinder heads have 58cc combustion chambers and ZZ4 spark plug angles. This combination puts the compression ratio at 10.1:1 and still allows the Super AFR ZZ4 to run on pump gas. |
